Oh Gosh! We've been reading your posts for a while - we are on the same journey, just lagging a few months behind, but feel so bad for your right now! I think, when we all move and embrace new adventures, our highs get higher and our lows lower, somehow the experience of enlargement brings that with it (or at least for me). I hope they test negative soon. And a belated thank you for all your writing. Your experiences are influencing our own choices (we started with plans for Porto and are steadily moving south in our minds!). Stay safe, and wellness to all!
Well… phooey. :-/ As a fellow Pfizered heathen, I can’t in good conscience send prayers. I guess I _can_ send positive cosmic thoughts. I like the sound and feel of that, though it’s likely a load of hooey, too. ~sigh~ What I can surely do is express my hope that this unwelcome, nasty visitor leaves your home ASAP and that none of you are much worse for wear. Best of wishes to you all for rapid healing! I’ll look forward to your announcement of full recoveries and happier days! :-)
I am sending all of the positive thoughts and good vibes that I can muster from this end of the world. Jeff is quarantined in his room again in the nursing home except to get out for showers because COVID cases are rising here so significantly. There is a 33 hour wait at the ER for University of TN Hospital now, and people are lying all over the floors in the ER waiting to be seen. The National Guard has come in to help with paperwork to alleviate the load for the nurses and doctors. Like your daughter, Jeff loves to be out and about in the hallways, dining room, etc. He was quarantined for months last year, so I hope this isolation is not as long for him. My daughter and I have moved in together in a house that is less than 1 mile from where Jeff stays in the nursing home. I told Jeff I will send smoke signals, I guess! I am hoping that you stay well and that your family is well on the road to recovery as you read this.
"Of course, the rest of the song is about Jesus, which is a great comfort to my dad. Not so much for me. (That’s a long story for a different day.)
Heathen though I may be, I do have comfort. I have peace, and hope, and all the necessary elements that keep a soul afloat in hard times."
I love you and I don't even know you. <3 Matt and I should come to be your neighbor! Healing to each of you, LaDonna!
Please do come be my neighbor!!

Thanks Julia! Everyone's doing alright (and I'm still testing negative). I appreciate your kind words, and good luck with your own preparations!

I'm so sorry, and hope they are both better soon...
I'm sorry.

Oh, Marilyn, that is SO difficult. Sending love to all three of you.
Reading your post caused much concern and worry. But sending you all many positive thoughts from the Kentuckylands of America.
Thanks, Deb. I promise we're ok!
So sorry to hear about your Covid journey. Hoping all will be well in just a few days and that Fiha can get that Covid shot.
