Reading this, as always when I read your postings, makes me smile and gives me assurance that the whole world has not lost its mind as many of us here in the US seem to have done. The rights that we thought we had fought for and finally won are now far too quickly in seeming danger of being stripped away. Texas is passing laws that make me wonder if we might be better off if they were not part of the US as they have wanted for far too long. But this seems to be a cancer-like shift that will threaten the rights of so many different groups that it is hard to even get my mind around it all. Your post gives me hope. Perhaps it is our shared ultra-conservative upbringing that makes me want to shout, "YES!" to your words when you share something new. I appreciate you and your ability to put into words what many of us feel but do not have a way to express.
So refreshing to see a Pride event that hasn’t been completely co-opted by corporations that act like donning rainbow attire and handing out merch during one month of the year makes them a real ally. I’ve stopped going to events in the U.S. because of all the capitalistic b.s.

Good one, como sempre!
So sorry to have missed (didn’t know you were coming 🤷🏼♂️) you! You were in our neighborhood (principe real)! Next time 😏
Thanks for sharing this. My husband and I are about to move to Portugal from San Francisco and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
It looks like it was a beautiful day!
