Hi LaDonna, I very much enjoy your writing. Your authenticity is felt. I lived in the Bay Area for 45 yrs. Sold my home last Oct and arrived in Lisbon 25/12/20. Even through this pandemic and the winter lockdown, life here is wonderful. On so many levels.
I admire your moxie and honesty. You make me braver, but my tiny steps pale in comparison to the giant leaps you are taking. So glad to know you. So glad you share your words.
You are magical, especially with words. I felt your journey and images flashed through my mind of your experiences and my own. I cannot wait to witness the “what’s next.”
I felt every emotion through your words. I recall feeling many of the same things. I am so glad I caught through the fear, as I very much enjoying the other side here in CasCais.
Oh boy, those ascending dates on the door got me. It all goes so fast.
I heard this morning about the nephew of a woman from my church. His wife had their second child on May 10, and four days later, he began chemotherapy because he has a huge tumor. He's 40 years old. Life is short, and sometimes it sucks, and when it doesn't suck, it all goes so fast. Go chase the beautiful, amazing, and unimaginable. You won't regret it.

Thanks, Morgan. That's good to hear, especially from another Bay Area ex-pat.
This is all so amazing, honestly. I am so grateful for your story.
