Coming into comfort reading your words. Reminded of a foundational teaching of Zen: “not knowing, is most intimate.” Deep gratitude for the light. 🙇🏽♀️🙏🏽
"my calendar is full with all the activities and my phone keeps feeding me death, devastation, and drama. More and more I crave a bit of space and quiet. An hour of barefaced wonder. A stillness as the light shifts. A page full of words that make sense to no one else but me".
Profound my dear LaDonna...I so look forward to your missives ;-)
This resonated a lot with me. I too grew up in a strict Lutheran houseshold where the answers were always given to you. I think that what got me started out of the rabbit hole was my confirmation classes in the 7th grade where we had to memorize answers to fundamental life questions. I started asking myself, why memorize and not think about each question. But I am always wondering, why do some people question and other follow blindly?
Feeling closer to God reading this piece than I ever felt in a church. God is everywhere, all the time, in all of us. The blessing we seek are inside of us.
Sometimes you read something entirely by chance that resonates, that puts beautifully into words what you’ve been thinking for a long time. This post is one of those. Stop, look, and listen - like a first grade primer. Wonder! Think! Relax!!!!!
Thank you for this beautiful issue of your newsletter.
Thank you for reading it!

Loved!
Love this!
Thank you, LaDonna! Just what I needed.
Dang it LaDonna! Crying at work rn! Tears came while watching the kids play in IL. Music def plugs us in to the Mysteries.
I got weepy at every single one of those. Music plugs is in, indeed.
